           Using The Internet Continued

                                  Fig 1-2
Fig 1-2 shows the menu, Tool Bar and Address Bar. There are times that these will get in the way and you would like to get rid of them temporally. To do this push F11. To make them come back push F11 again.

When you are visiting a web page and think you may want to come back to it, you can save it in Favorites. This will allow you to click on the address and you will not have to type it in. Notice there is a Favorites in the Menu Bar and another one one the Tool Bar with a little yellow star beside it. Click both of them and you will see the difference in the way they show up on the page. I don’t know why two, but if you use the one at the top in the Menu Bar, you can open it and right click on it and a window will come up with a sort by name, which is handy when you get a lot of folders in your Favorites.

Sometimes you will find a link for a web site in a e-mail that does not work. Highlight it by holding your left mouse button down and drag across it. Now right click and click on copy.
Open your browser and put your curser in the address box. Now hold down the shift key and click on the insert key. This will transfer the URL into your browser and when you click on Enter the web site will appear.
